Uplifters is proud to take part in the “Are You OK?” campaign

Uplifters is proud to take part in the “Are You OK?” Campaign in collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Commission, PathFinders Hong Kong 融幼社, Christian Action, and Caritas-AMP.

This important initiative addresses discrimination and exploitation faced by migrant workers through a series of face-to-face workshops conducted in the Indonesian language, specifically designed to empower and protect Indonesian migrant domestic workers.

💬 On 27th April, we kicked off the series with a session on labour law, discrimination, love scams, and basic financial literacy, where we shared practical tools to help workers take control of their finances and build brighter futures.

🧠 On 18th May, our workshop focused on mental health, anti-discrimination laws, sick leave, organised with support from the Indonesian Consulate, IDN Hong Kong-Macau and Peduli Kasih.

🌟On 8th June, a discussion on maternity rights, love language, and a group discussion.

🎓✨On 3rd August, a proud moment at the Graduation & Pitching Day! After months of learning, our inspiring participants showcased their knowledge on rights & empowerment.

At Uplifters, we believe that education, community, and mental wellbeing are key pillars to uplifting migrant workers and breaking the cycle of exploitation.

🙌 Thank you to all partners and participants for your dedication to creating safer, more inclusive environments for migrant domestic workers.
